Great intent and nice timing from Rose, and love the Flamenco section in the middle, but would have liked a bit more power - it feels a bit soft in places. Great start to the show though, really enjoyed that. Their Week Ten dance is the Paso Doble to ‘California Dreamin’ by Sia. This is essentially a shouty version of the Mamas & The Papas original, so it could work really well as a Paso. Rose does brilliant characterisation and storytelling, so I have high hopes for this. However, on the whole, I think chapter five of Flux went on to swerve the worst of that regular pitfall of the Chris Chibnall era, serving up multiple interesting threads, gradually bringing the characters together and hopefully setting us up nicely for the resolution next week.
