In a new demonstrated confidence from Warner Bros. for the forthcoming Wonder Woman 1984, the follow-up to last year’s DC Comics-based hit starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, the release date for the sequel has been pushed back from November 2019 to June 5, 2020. It will be only the second DC Comics-based film since 2013 that will be opening in the prime summer category, since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opened in March of 2016, Suicide Squad in August that same year at the end of the summer season, and Justice League premiered in November 2017. The first Wonder Woman film came out in June of 2017. The renewed confidence in Wonder Woman 1984 may mean good things for both the forthcoming sequel, as well as other DC Comics-based movies that are on the schedule...
