Opening in only two theaters in New York and Los Angeles, the new version of Suspiria (above) earned $179,000, which gives it the highest per-theater average of the year. Obviously, Luca Guadagnino's reimagining of Dario Argento's classic thriller has intrigued moviegoers beyond the core horror audience.
